Biodynamic Craniosacral Course Info

Craniosacral Therapy Course Info and Certification Options

•Our Craniosacral Training is a modular, 700-hour training based on the work and teaching of Franklyn Sills, RCST (UK). 350 of the hours are in-class, and 350 hours are guided independent study (200 hours) plus clinical practice (150 hours).  Read a summary of the content for this course.

•Graduates of this program have an option to become known as BCST ("Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist") or RCST® ("Registered Craniosacral Therapist").

•BCST comes from CSES as part of its membership in IABT (International Affiliation of Biodynamic Trainings) and requires no renewal; once attained, it is permanent-- similar to an academic degree.

•RCST® comes from BCSTA/NA (Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America) on the basis of our status as an approved training; it requires ongoing membership in BCSTA/NA and adherence to its practitioner requirements and regulations.

•Students may also elect to not acquire a practitioner designation at all. If not seeking certification the 350 hours of independent study is recommended but not required.

•We help with independent study and clinical practice, with the intention that they can all be completed at the end of the program. Independent study includes reading, homework, testing and a study project.  See required BCST readings for the class.

•Commitment: Students are required to commit to taking the entire series.
