PROTOCOLS & HAND POSITIONS

  • Listening at the feet, side or shoulders to begin
  • Listening at the O/A – giving firm pressure if useful/needed
  • Listening at the Sphenoid/SBJ
  • Listen at the side – hands on shoulder and hip
  • Listen at the Cranial Base
  • Hands in the Vault hold – go through the layers in your perception:
  • Parietals
  • RTM
  • Parietal Lobes
  • Ventricles
  • Mid-Brain Structures: Amygdala, Hippocampus, Hypothalamus, Pituitary, Pineal, etc
  • Slip pointer fingers down to touch the Sphenoid from the modified vault hold
  • Bi-lateral Frontal Bone Contact – gently let your hands drape the frontal bone with one hand on either side
  • Integration: Sacrum / Feet
  • Ankles/Calves – use rajasic and tamasic contacts at the ankles and calves; end with a light touch at the ankles
  • Shoulders – use rajasic and tamasic contacts at the shoulders; end with a light touch at the shoulders
  • Kidneys/Colon – use rajasic and tamasic contacts at the kidneys and colon; end with a light touch at the kidneys or colon
  • Connecting the Triad (play with contacts – left/right, front/back – wait for a pulse):
  • Connect the kidneys to the ankles/calves
  • Connect the kidneys to the shoulders
  • Connect the shoulders to ankles/calves
  • Connect Air Finger to Air Chakra – one hand holds the air finger, the other hand rests behind the heart/lungs
  • Bi-lateral Frontal Bone Contact – gently let your hands drape the frontal bone with one hand on either side
  • Orbits – cradle the orbits with your fingers; base of hands on frontal, fingertips on zygomae, palms above eyes
  • Zygomae – let pointer, middle and ring fingers gently rest on the zygomae on either side
  • Ethmoid Contact – hold the ethmoid with pointer finger and thumb; hold the frontal bone under the other palm
  • Occiput–Frontal Hold – right palm across frontal (right to left); left hand cradles occiput (left to right)
  • Six Pointed Star – light contact at the ethmoid (left ring finger) and pubic bone (right middle finger)
  • Massage / Pull the toes
  • Fingers between the toes
  • Path of Fire – squeeze the last knuckle of the Air toe on both sides firmly, then soften as pulsing/energy flow emerges
  • 5-Element Toe Balance – match fingers to corresponding toes and hold sattvically
  • Connect Chakra with Long Lines – hold either the Air Finger or Air Toe and connect to the Air Chakra; explore strongest flow
