Scholarship Fund for Racial Justice

In partnership with the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy "Group U", the Colorado School of Energy Studies (CSES) has created a Scholarship Fund for Racial Justice.

Initial funds have been seeded by the CS-U cohort. CSES commits to matching all funds generated by this GoFundMe Fundraiser. Funds raised will go 100% towards funding tuition for students of color in the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy program at CSES.

Applications for scholarships will be available when CSES re-opens in person learning, pending CoVID19. Please stay tuned for instructions on how to apply

This fund serves as an invitation to all non white cultures to bring their voices, perspectives and gifts into the field.

We are aware that financial barriers are only one of the many barriers preventing non-white people from being able to effectively and safely show up in the professional therapeutic world as themselves as both clients and practitioners. We are also aware that much of the wisdom in bodywork therapy has its roots in non-white traditional cultures, including Craniosacral therapy. We we would like to honor the roots and lineage of Biodynamic Craniosacral, and understand that Dr. Andew Taylor Still, the founder of Osteopathy out of which Biodynamic Craniosacral emerged, studied with Shawnee and Cherokee healers. It is our intention to offer to those beyond ourselves the gifts from the healing work we are privileged to experience each module.

May the Scholarship Fund for Racial Justice be the beginning of many challenging and necessary conversations and actions that will inform and evolve the way our current therapy system operates, helping to restore healing as a birthright for all to benefit from.
