Practices |
- Practice listening to the layers in your clients. Ask the system which layer it wants to show you and see how it responds. - Practice listening for opening and closing in the bones and soft tissue in your practice sessions. - Experiment with using firm pressure to offer containment and using the “VU” sound with clients whose systems feel dense or not present. |
Writings |
- Write about your experience feeling each of the layers — how do bones, connective tissue, fluid, energy & space feel in your hands and in your body? - Write about your experience of freeze and dissociation in your own body and life. - How do you notice these states arise? When do they arise? How do they feel? - How are you noticing the difference between still, quiet presence and dissociation/freeze? |
